A Fun Announcement From Our Family!

My husband and I had a fun surprise for our boys this week, and we want to share it with you too! It will make you laugh out loud! Watch this:

When I started my blog, I had just given birth to my third son and I was certain that God knew that my husband and I felt pretty “done” with having babies. That said, we are always open to having more children, if that was what God had in mind for us. We know that “family-planning” is a man-made idea. God determines all of our lives-even before the foundation of the world.

Even though I would have enjoyed having another baby, I felt so certain that Oakley, who is now 2 and a half, was our last baby that I gave away all my maternity clothes, baby gear, and clothes. So you can imagine what a shock it was to find out that our quiver is expanding!

It's a clean slate-we are starting all over! And we couldn't be happier about it! The boys are over the moon excited, and wouldn't you know it, all of them are hoping for a girl, though they say they will be excited over another brother too! :)

I have already learned some amazing truths from the Lord through this new pregnancy and I'm looking forward to talking a little more about what God is teaching me in future posts!

UPDATE!!!: We are having TWINS!!!

UPDATE #2: The Lord gives and the Lord takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord-our twins are now home safe in the arms of Jesus. You can read about this sad news and God's goodness to us here.
